How it works
- Enter each client's revenue, contractor/freelancer cost, and any monthly retainer for the period.
- Gross margin per client = revenue − contractor cost; concentration is your largest client's share of total revenue.
- Retainer coverage compares monthly recurring revenue (MRR) to the fixed costs you entered.
- Utilization = billable ÷ available hours; effective hourly rate = total revenue ÷ billable hours.
- Pipeline value is each deal's value × probability, for deals expected to close inside the window.
Assumptions
- One period at a time — enter the revenue and costs for the window you're analyzing.
- Contractor cost is the only cost of delivery modeled per client; internal salaries sit in fixed costs.
- A client above ~35% of revenue is flagged as concentration risk; margin under 40% is flagged.
- Nothing is saved — reloading resets to the sample data.
