How it works

  • Enter each client's revenue, contractor/freelancer cost, and any monthly retainer for the period.
  • Gross margin per client = revenue − contractor cost; concentration is your largest client's share of total revenue.
  • Retainer coverage compares monthly recurring revenue (MRR) to the fixed costs you entered.
  • Utilization = billable ÷ available hours; effective hourly rate = total revenue ÷ billable hours.
  • Pipeline value is each deal's value × probability, for deals expected to close inside the window.

Assumptions

  • One period at a time — enter the revenue and costs for the window you're analyzing.
  • Contractor cost is the only cost of delivery modeled per client; internal salaries sit in fixed costs.
  • A client above ~35% of revenue is flagged as concentration risk; margin under 40% is flagged.
  • Nothing is saved — reloading resets to the sample data.
